Krys was born in Hamilton, Ontario. He played the majority of his minor hockey, for Dundas Ontario at the Single A level; later playing Triple A for the Halton Hurricanes and Guelph Platers.

At the age of 14, Krys played Tier 2 Junior A for the Georgetown Raiders.  Two years later he was drafted to the OHL where he played 3 years for the London Knights.  Following his Junior hockey career, Krys was drafted by the Washington Capitals.  He went on to play 14 years of professional hockey; 8 of which were at the NHL level.

Krys presently resides in Grand Bend, Ontario with his wife Holly, and three sons Hayden, Kane and Kolten.

Jamie grew up in Port Franks, Ontario. He played majority of his minor hockey in Thedford, later playing AAA in Sarnia. At the age of 15, Jamie played 2 years of Jr B with the Strathroy Rockets before being drafter to the OHL. Jamie spent 1 year with the Sarnia Sting before being traded to the Oshawa Generals, spending 3 seasons in Oshawa. Following his junior career Jamie played 15 years professionally. Majority of his career in the AHL and Europe.  

Jamie now resides in Grand Bend with his wife Lisa, son Dallas and his daughter Mascha.
